The Anglo-German Club welcomes people from all parts of the world. Native speakers are most welcome, too. Our evenings can cover anything from discussions, games, presentations, quizzes and pot luck suppers and are carried out in English. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Under the slogan "ideas worth spreading", TED has been covering a wide range of topics from science to culture and arts. In this course, we go deep down in the ocean of ideas, arguments, technics and stories presented in TED talks. Here, language and critical thinking are our instruments. ETTT consists of multiple exercises to improve speaking and writing skills.

This course is aimed at an advanced level of English and intends to prepare for the Cambridge Advanced Certificate (CAE). The CAE testifies competences and profound knowledge of English at a high level (according to Effectiveness Level, Common European Framework) and finds worldwide acceptance at universities and in International commerce and industry.

A successful result in FCE or at least eight years of learning experience are seen as entrance requirements for this course. Two semesters are usually necessary after passing First Certificate in English.
